About me A 71-year-old Pakistani female with a history of long-term chronic depression and low motivation, who also experiences ongoing pain-related health conditions. She requires the support of a Personal Assistant (PA) to assist with daily living tasks and to promote her overall wellbeing. The role will involve providing practical and emotional support to help maintain independence, improve mood, and enhance quality of life.  
Hours and rate of pay Rate of Pay: Meets NMW Hours:  16 hours per week- Each PA to work 8 hours each Working pattern: 5–6 days per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support as required. Specific days and hours can be negotiated to meet the needs of the client and the successful candidates.

What you would be doing… Key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing support with personal care, including assistance with bathing
  • Preparing culturally appropriate meals, such as curries and chapattis
  • Carrying out household tasks, including ironing, changing bedding, and general cleaning
  • Supporting the client to access the community, including visits to local shops, supermarkets, or garden centres as required
  • Assisting with light gardening tasks (experience in gardening would be beneficial)
Support the client to access the community, including accompanying her to local shops for essential shopping or visits to garden centres, in order to promote engagement, improve mood, and enhance overall wellbeing. The client needs 2 PAs at all times to support them.    
The person I would like… We are seeking a Pakistani female support worker who has a strong understanding of Pakistani culture and is able to communicate effectively in Urdu or Mirpuri/Pahari, as the client does not speak English.   The ideal candidate will have experience working within the care sector, particularly supporting individuals experiencing low mood, depression, or a lack of motivation. A compassionate and patient approach is essential.   Applicants should preferably hold a valid DBS check, a full driving licence, and have access to a vehicle, as the role involves accompanying the client on outings to help improve mood and engagement.   The role also includes supporting the client with culturally appropriate meal preparation, such as cooking curries and chapattis, to meet their dietary needs. In addition, the candidate should be confident in maintaining a clean and tidy home environment and assisting with household duties.   We are also looking for someone willing to support with basic gardening tasks, as this can be a valuable activity in promoting the client’s wellbeing and motivation.   We are looking to employ 2 Personal Assistants (PAs), each working 8 hours per week. Care Assistant /Support Worker

About me I am a young man with a mild Learning Disability and Autism.  I am a big fan of Hemel Hempstead football team and am looking for a PA to support me by accompanying me to Hemel Hempstead’s home games. I would also like support with going to the cinema, shopping, bowling and other fun activities.  
Hours and rate of pay 3 hours every fortnight –  Saturday or Sunday, depends on Hemel Hempstead football club home game fixtures. Occasional weekday nights, depending on the fixture.  
Location Hemel Hempstead (HP)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… You will be accompanying me to home games so I can watch and support my football team Hemel Hempstead. When there is not a home game I would like support with activities such as bowling, going to the cinema, shopping etc.
The person I would like… I am looking for a Carer who has some experience of working with people with Autism. Good spoken English a must   Must enjoy football!
