| About the Direct Payment Holder | A happy young male aged 17 with complex needs is seeking a Support Worker. He enjoys watching TV (especially football) and relaxing in his adapted living space at home. He has severe developmental impairment (Tuberous Sclerosis), is non-verbal, and uses incontinence pads. He also has epilepsy, experiencing regular seizures (usually 1–2 per day). He is mobile in safe environments such as home, school, and family houses. He enjoys playing with his toys and can feed himself finger food, but requires assistance with drinks and cannot use cutlery. When out in the community, he uses a wheelchair due to seizures and lack of awareness of dangers. |
