Hours and rate of pay	£12.21 per hour 19 hours per week The hours will be over 3 days on Tuesday, Thursday daytime and either Friday or Saturday evening (to be discussed in more detail). Additional night cover hours may be available and can be discussed at interview

What you would be doing…	You will be supporting me to get out and about to socialise. You will be required to push me in my manual wheelchair on the times it’s not suitable to take my electric one.
The person I would like…	Seeking a PA who is punctual and reliable who owns their own car and has a driving licence. You should be outgoing and willing to engage me in conversation as I like to ask a lot of questions. I would prefer a PA of a similar age who should be physically able to help me in and out of my wheelchair and car.

You should be active and happy to get involved in the things J enjoys, and having similar interests would be a plus. About the service user	L is 21 years old and lives with an acquired brain injury following a skiing accident in 2024 (causing right-sided physical issues, balance difficulties, and cognitive challenges with memory and planning). L was studying Computer Science at university before his accident. He is bright, curious, active and committed to his recovery, with interests including computer science, computer games, maths, chess, languages, sports (eg skiing, climbing, volleyball).
Hours and rate of Pay	24 hours a week, paid at £18.20 per hour. Pattern of hours to be discussed (Monday-Friday at present – but occasional weekend availability appreciated). Enhanced DBS clearance required.
What you would be doing…	L prefers to be as independent as possible with personal care – he will let you know when he needs support with showering/dressing. Working alongside L to promote and encourage independent living. Cooking/preparing meals with L using fresh ingredients. Supporting L with social inclusion, meeting with friends, swimming, climbing and attending other activities and appointments.
The person I would like…	Experience of supporting others is preferred, and understanding of and empathy for the challenges of brain injury are essential. Someone who shares similar interests and enjoys being active would be great. Someone who knows their way around a kitchen and can cook fresh, healthy food is essential. Someone who has a genuine interest in providing high-quality care and supporting others to live their best lives, who is kind, friendly and trustworthy with a positive attitude and a youthful mind. H loves crafting & drawing, she also enjoys watching soaps and nature programmes. H’s family are very important to her.
Hours and rate of Pay	Live in 8am Friday – 8am Monday (42 hours) paid @ £12.21 + 3 sleep ins (10pm – 8am) paid at £40 per night. Working every other week alongside another PA. Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
What you would be doing…	Support with all daily living tasks… Personal care Medication and using her nebulizer morning and evening. Meals & drinks Maintaining the home environment completing household chores. Supporting with safe transfers using a Molift.
