What you would be doing…	You will be supporting with helping me to keep organized in all aspects of my life. This can include helping in my home with tasks such as admin, filing organising appointments. Supporting with bathing, self-care, cooking and light household chores. Help organize my appointments and accompany me to them. Opportunities to work from home supporting with compiling letters. Accessing the community to attend groups and take part in activities and socializing. I would also like to attend my church service on a Sunday.
Required skills and experience	Someone who likes to be organised who is focused and has an eye for detail. You should be able to support me with creating and maintaining a routine that is achievable. Car owner driver – preferred but not essential Keen swimmer – preferred but not essential

B also likes visiting coffee shops and going to the park to feed the ducks, he is not so keen on other animals such as dogs, cats & horses. B is happy in the company of others.

What you would be doing…	Support sessions will be in the home environment initially until you get to know each other. The aim is for B to access community activities with another trusted adult, improving his independence skills, giving him opportunities to choose what he wants to do and where he wants to go empowering him to make his own decisions and develop his confidence, he will also have opportunities to socialise with other young people and develop his communications skills. B wears nappies full assistance with changing will be required.
The person I would like…	It is important you have experience of supporting other young people with Autism and learning disabilities. You will be someone who above all is kind, patient and has the ability to communicate firm boundaries. Someone who is happy to be interactive and encouraging in order to improve and develop skills. You will need to be sharp and alert, B needs constant supervision to keep him safe, he is fast and likes to run. Routine is important for B, reliability is really important.
