What you would be doing…   Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, and continence care   Moving and Handling: Hoist training required, as the individual cannot weight-bear and relies on a hoist for all transfers   Epilepsy Care: Must be trained (or willing to train) in epilepsy management, as occasional seizures occur   Community and Social Support: Assist with taking the individual out for activities such as walks, social events, skiing, and other outdoor or recreational activities   Driving: The PA must hold a clean, full UK driving licence to drive the family car for outings and appointments   Animal Care: Must be comfortable around animals, as the family has a pet dog
