About the Direct Payment Holder Seeking a PA to support a young girl who suffered a stroke in the womb and has right-sided hemiplegia and is registered blind, with various other conditions alongside this too. Although the young girl has a lot of clinical needs she is an absolute ray of sunshine with a very cheeky personality and smile. She has no challenging behaviours, she just wants to enjoy life to the maximum.
Hours and rate of pay  hours 16 – 21 hours. £15.50ph daytime and £16.50ph if covering a night. 2 days per week, currently Thursdays and Fridays but for the right candidate other days are available. What you would be doing… Seeking a dedicated and flexible Personal Care Assistant to provide support to the young girl in the family home and with going to school. The ideal candidate would have some care experience and enjoy working as part of a lovely team, being able to cover any sick or holiday leave. Responsibilities ·        Support with mobility i.e.. Hoisting, and physical therapy exercises ·        Provide clinical support such as; peg feeding/flushing, suctioning, administering oxygen, operating Bi-Pap machine, SATs monitor and food pump ·        Maintain the communication/handover book. He thrives on routine and enjoys being outdoors in nature, visiting the park, scootering, football, trampolining and swimming. He is also very happy playing at home with activities such as train sets, drawing, painting, baking, singing, dancing and music. He enjoys interactive play but can also play independently once settled. He experiences communication difficulties but is making great progress with the right support, particularly when encouraged and reminded to use his words. He benefits from preparation before transitions, reminders about what is happening now and next, and songs or rhymes to support routine changes. He needs help with emotional regulation, consistent boundaries, and reminders to keep safe in the community. He wears pull-ups but can use the toilet for both urine and bowel movements with reminders and a little support. He takes time to warm up to new people, so a gentle, patient approach will be essential as he can become anxious during separations from his mum

I used to play football professionally and have travelled around the world. I enjoy going out for meals, shopping, the cinema, and taking part in village and church activities. I am passionate about animals, especially dogs – I have competed with a particular breed and I ran a dog grooming business, I also had a cat and watching the birds in the garden brings me pleasure.   I enjoy modern technology and use my mobile and tablet often, I have a Firestick on the TV with various applications installed to watch sports, series, documentaries, etc. I utilise Alexa devices and have outdoor security cameras.    
Hours and rate of pay £960 per week on a 2 week on 2 week off rota. 2 hour unpaid break daily, note food/meal allowance is not included.

Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About the Direct Payment Holder   A happy young male aged 17 with complex needs is seeking a Support Worker. He enjoys watching TV (especially football) and relaxing in his adapted living space at home. He has severe developmental impairment (Tuberous Sclerosis), is non-verbal, and uses incontinence pads. He also has epilepsy, experiencing regular seizures (usually 1–2 per day). He is mobile in safe environments such as home, school, and family houses. He enjoys playing with his toys and can feed himself finger food, but requires assistance with drinks and cannot use cutlery. When out in the community, he uses a wheelchair due to seizures and lack of awareness of dangers.
Hours and rate of pay Flexible hours during school holidays, up to 10 hours per week, and some weekends   £12.50 per hour  
Location Cambridge (CB21)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required: • Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling  
What you would be doing…   Providing support at home and in the community Supervising in the home environment, ensuring safety while he enjoys his adapted area, garden, and play Taking for walks to the park (using wheelchair) Supporting with personal care, including changing pads when needed Assisting with meals, drinks, and access to snacks Supporting with safe mobility and supervision during activities  
Required skills and experience Experience of supporting individuals with special and complex needs is preferred, ideally in a SEND school or care environment Kind, patient, and relaxed nature Comfortable supporting both complex needs and personal care Must have access to a vehicle due to home location (no regular bus routes available)

About the Direct Payment Holder   A 24-year-old autistic man is seeking a Support Worker. He enjoys films, going to the cinema, and playing computer games.  
Hours and rate of pay 8 hours per week (days and times flexible – daytime or evening) £15.50 per hour, with a possible increase following a successful probation period for the right person  
Location St Neots (PE19)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.

Required skills and experience Experience of supporting individuals with autism is beneficial but not essential – a willingness to learn is important Life experience and understanding of the challenges autism can bring Patient, kind, and encouraging, with the ability to promote independence Engaging and interactive, helping to develop skills while supporting personal growth

About the Direct Payment Holder A young happy teenage boy who suffers with mobility issues and is completely wheelchair dependant is seeking a PA to support him.
Hours and rate of pay £15.20 per hour, 5 hours per week on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening 3.30-8.30pm  
Location Watford (WD25)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required: • Safeguarding Children • Introduction to first aid / Paediatric first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling  
What you would be doing… You will offer companionship and support the young teenage boy with meal prep and feeding, personal care and getting ready for bed.
