Top down. Bottom up. Inside out. Outside in. A truly disability inclusive organisation. About to put all theories, approaches, knowledge, experience and who I am to the ultimate test.

Purple is bursting with pride to let you know about our work with Allwyn who have recently been selected by #TheGamblingCommission as the preferred applicant for the UK National Lottery. A whoop whoop if ever one was needed. This is big beans if Allwyn are awarded the licence. Huge opportunity to work alongside the operator of one of our biggest national treasures. Make it into a fully accessible National Treasure. A template for others to follow.

We have worked with the senior team for 18 months. Lived experience of disability in bucket loads. Strategy created by Harriet Jameson , James Everett , David Craven and others. Committed to train all staff. For me, a symbol of great organisations are ones that set down markers of what an accessible culture will look, feel and sound like from day one. And a frontloaded focus on accessible online technology. Enable all to participate on equal terms. Get the inside relationships with outside stakeholders right. And take new partners on the journey. An existing Purple Tuesday sector partner. The overall ripple could be enormous.

Time to be calm. Time for a coffee. Caffeine needed. A lot to do. Importance of getting accessibility right. April fool. You have got to be joking. This is a serious opportunity to put disability front and central.

Momentous Friday.
