Hours	Monday to Friday (hours to be discussed) and Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm. The role is offered across six days per week, with a half-day on Saturdays. Bank Holidays will generally not be required unless additional support is needed
Rate of Pay	£15.50 per hour
DBS/Checks	Confirmation of DBS check Right to Work and references will be needed.
About the Person You Will Support:	I am a 21-year-old young man living at home with my mum, younger sister and our four cats. I attend the Lily Rose Day Service four days per week and enjoy a structured weekly routine. In my spare time, I love listening to music, gaming on my Xbox, watching films with my family, going to the cinema and playing Uno.
Key Responsibilities:	I require support with daily living tasks as my mobility can be difficult. I use crutches at all times and frequently require a wheelchair. Support is needed with personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing and using the toilet. During periods when my epilepsy is more severe, I may require additional support and reassurance due to anxiety about falling. The role will also involve driving me to appointments and activities using my mobility vehicle, as well as supporting me with meal preparation, basic household tasks, laundry, ironing and changing bedding
Requirements:	I am looking for a male Personal Assistant who is kind, encouraging and able to provide gentle but firm guidance when needed. The successful candidate will help me develop my independence and support me as I move into the next stage of my life. You should be flexible, reliable and passionate about supporting others. Full training will be provided, but a positive attitude and commitment to promoting independence are essential. A full UK driving licence is required, as you will need to drive my mobility vehicle. Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to motor insurance requirements. You must be fluent in English, as I have learning and language delays and can sometimes find communication difficult.
