| Key Responsibilities: | Preparing light meals and encouraging Z to eat and drink. Household tasks, light cleaning and occasional laundry. Some support with toileting and hygiene will be required. Companionship, chatting, playing games & accessing the community. Supporting Z with her daily exercises. Supporting Z to appointments as needed. |
| Requirements: | A driver is preferred. It is important that you have experience/knowledge of Dementia and the challenges the condition can bring. Someone who is resilient, a good negotiator, gently assertive, patient, respectful, friendly an active listener and willing to build trust and understanding in the role, which can be challenging at times. | Key Responsibilities: | The Personal Assistant will provide companionship and emotional support to one or both children, engaging with them in a calm, patient and child-led way. This may include activities such as video games, board games, age-appropriate play, chatting, spending time in the garden or simply being present when the children prefer quiet, low-demand interaction. The role may also involve preparing simple drinks and snacks. In the future, once the children feel comfortable, the Personal Assistant may support them with community outings. |
