What you would be doing… This role begins with 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday, with potential to increase hours over time and provide additional support during school holidays once a trusting relationship is built. Supporting with play, games, reading, and general interaction at home Over time, taking her out to the park or on short trips (a driver with own car is ideal) Assisting with eating and drinking, using dysphagia-safe methods and encouraging her to stay engaged during mealtimes Providing personal care, such as pad changing (after a relationship has been built) Supporting with medication and, if necessary, assisting with seizure rescue medication.
