About the Person You Will Support:	The Direct Payment Holder is seeking a reliable and proactive Personal Assistant to support a young man in Great Baddow, Chelmsford, who has Friedreich's Ataxia. He is a wheelchair user with full cognitive ability and requires support with personal care, daily living activities, meals, medication, exercise, appointments and accessing the community, helping him maintain his independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:	This is a 2:1 support role, so applicants must be able to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be active, forward-thinking and confident in encouraging community participation and suggesting activities.
Requirements:	A full UK driving licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential. DBS checks, references and proof of right to work will be required. Sponsorship is not available. No agencies.
