About the Person You Will Support:	The Direct payment holder is a 5-year-old with complex medical and physical needs, including epilepsy, hydrocephalus, right sided hemiplegia and a rare brain tumour. He experiences daily absence seizures and requires support with his medical needs and routine activities. He is physically disabled and uses specialist equipment, including a gastrotomy and hoist to support his daily care.
Key Responsibilities:	Provide one-to-one support for him in activities he enjoys, including watching Disney movies, swimming, going for walks around town, visits to the cinema and Cafes. Supporting him to develop his confidence, communication and independence while ensuring he remains safe and engaged in activities.
Requirements:	A patient, calm person with experience supporting children with complex medical needs. Experience administering seizure medication. Experience using a Gastrostomy (PEG) and hoist. A driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable not essential.
