About the Person You Will Support:	The Direct Payment Holder is seeking a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 36-year-old woman living with her parents in Cambridge. She has severe autism, a severe speech disorder, a mild hearing loss, and hydrocephalus.
Key Responsibilities:	The role involves providing some personal care support and, primarily, companionship and engagement in enjoyable activities at home. She lives in a fully equipped home with a range of resources and activities available.
Requirements:	Kind, trustworthy and committed to building a long-term relationship Good communication and observation skills Willing to learn specialist communication methods Able to work flexibly and independently at times English GCSE required Driver desirable but not essential Comfortable working in a home with a small dog Experience is not essential, as training and support will be provided.
