| About the Person You Will Support: | K is a friendly lady, with a great sense of humour who loves music, especially studying and recording it. She would like to get out and about more, browsing shops and garden centres and having a good chat along the way. K is a non smoker and would prefer a fragrance free environment, due to allergies. |
| Key Responsibilities: | Providing one-to-one support and friendly companionship. Supporting with shopping trips and visits to shops and garden centres. Offering encouragement and reassurance to attend appointments. Supporting hobbies and interests, including music and computer use. Promoting independence and wellbeing in a respectful, professional way. |
| Requirements: | I am looking for someone who is warm, approachable, easy going, encouraging and supportive, particularly with attending appointments. Someone who also has a love for music and is comfortable using computers and values good company and laughter. This is a rewarding role for someone who values connection, laughter and supporting independence in a relaxed, person-centred way. I would feel more comfortable with a female support worker.
