About the Person You Will Support:	The Direct Payment Holder is seeking a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 17-year-old autistic young man in Cambridge (CB2). He communicates using a Talking Device, uses some verbal language, and has epilepsy which is managed with medication and a safety plan.
Key Responsibilities:	The role involves supporting personal care, medication, meal preparation, daily living skills and community access, while helping to develop independence, confidence and social opportunities. As he has limited awareness of danger and may run off unexpectedly, the successful applicant must be vigilant and able to provide safe, consistent support.
Requirements:	Applicants must have experience supporting individuals with autism and additional needs, and ideally have experience of epilepsy and communication support. The ideal candidate will be caring, trustworthy, empathetic and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support. Enhanced DBS, references and proof of right to work are required. Sponsorship is not available.
