About the Person You Will Support:	I am a lady living in West Bromwich who is looking for a friendly, reliable and supportive Female Personal Assistant to help me maintain my independence at home and in the community. I can sometimes be hard of hearing and have a broad Black Country accent, so it is important that you speak and understand clear English and are able to communicate patiently and effectively with me. I require support with a range of day-to-day activities, including attending appointments, shopping and maintaining my home environment. I am looking for someone who can provide practical support while respecting my dignity, privacy and independence.
Key Responsibilities:	Your role will involve supporting me both at home and in the community. This will include providing personal care with dignity and respect, supporting me to attend appointments, accompanying me on shopping trips and community outings, carrying out light household duties, assisting with laundry and general domestic tasks, providing companionship and practical support, encouraging and supporting my independence, and always ensuring my wellbeing and safety.
Requirements:	I am looking for someone who is kind, caring and patient, reliable, punctual and trustworthy, respectful of privacy and dignity, and friendly and approachable. You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, feel comfortable supporting someone who is hard of hearing, be able to work independently and use your initiative, and be flexible and willing to work the required hours. Essential Requirements A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. You must be willing to use your vehicle to support attendance at appointments, shopping trips and community activities. You must also speak and understand clear English. Experience and Qualifications Previous care or support experience is preferred but not essential, as the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
