| About the Person You Will Support: | The Direct payment holder is a 21 year old man, who lives at home with his younger sister, mum and 4 cats. He currently enjoy going the Lily Rose day care provision to which will be 4 days/full time from July. He loves music, and gaming on the Xbox. He also enjoy watching films with my family, going to the cinema and a good game of uno! |
| Key Responsibilities: | The direct payment holder needs help with getting about as mobility can be difficult. He needs crutches all the time and quite often his wheelchair. He needs help with the toilet and taking a bath. At times he also needs help with getting dressed. If his epilepsy is particularly bad this help increases as he can get anxious with falling too. To be driven to and from college and lily rose centre both in Chelmsford. Maybe a couple smaller local trips to places like GP, hairdressers, barbers etc. Personal daily care, prepare some meals, basic laundry say putting out on line maybe a bit of ironing as J is unable to stand. Change bedding. |
| Requirements: | Someone flexible as training will be provided. But reliable, and passionate about the role important to give J the support and independence he deserves, while still able to be in a home environment. Full uk driving licence required, and to be 25+ for car insurance purposes, will need to drive mobility car.
