About me | I am a 60-year-old lady seeking two female PAs to support me in my own home and accessing the community. |
Hours and rate of pay | £11.50 - £13.00 per hour (depending on day) Thursday, Friday and weekends – Minimum of 5 hours per shift (job share and alternate shift working available) Some evenings will be required |

What you would be doing… | You will be supporting me with personal care, dressing and undressing, light household chores, cooking, accessing the community, attending social events and appointments. |
The person I would like… | Seeking female PAs who are honest and trustworthy with good time keeping. You will be understand the need for confidentiality as I am a very private person. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred. Car owner/ driver with business insurance essential (petrol costs paid). You should be comfortable around cats. Due to difficulty with hearing you will need to be able to speak clearly. |

About the Direct Payment Holder | A compassionate and dedicated Live-in Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support an elderly individual in their late 70s. The client requires physical assistance with daily tasks, including mobility support, personal care, and household duties. Experience in elderly care, particularly with Alzheimer’s, is an advantage. |
Hours and rate of pay | Live-in, rotational (2 PAs alternating weekly), £900 a week |

Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required: • Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety / Moving and handling |
What you would be doing… | Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting Supporting mobility, including helping the client in and out of bed and walking assistance Preparing meals and ensuring the client is fed Household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting with local outings using a wheelchair (provided) |
Required skills and experience | Experience in elderly care, particularly Alzheimer’s care, is an advantage A caring, patient, and committed approach Ability to work 7 days a week on a rotational basis with another live-in carer Preferably female Must be able to work independently and ensure the client’s well-being with close supervision This advert complies with the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) Section 7 (2b). |

About the Direct Payment Holder | A sweet and sociable young girl with Down Syndrome and global developmental delay is looking for a caring and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PA). She wears hearing aids and is under medical care for her heart. |
Hours and rate of pay | Primarily during school holidays, with after-school care |

What you would be doing… | Community Engagement: Take her out to activities like the cinema, park, swimming pool, and other social outings. Help her navigate public transport, although a car is preferred. Support with College (starting in September): Assist with transportation to and from college (3 PM - 6 PM). Light Personal Care: While she can use the toilet and shower herself, some assistance may be needed with getting dressed, particularly with buttons and other tasks. Meal Preparation: Occasionally prepare meals, especially if the family is delayed. Light Housekeeping: Help with light cleaning tasks when necessary, although this is not a primary responsibility. School Work Support: Provide assistance with schoolwork, reading, and activities that promote learning and development. |
Required skills and experience | Driving: A valid UK driving license is required. While driving is preferable, helping her use public transport would also be beneficial for her independence. Experience: Previous experience working with children with special needs is essential. First aid training is highly desirable. Flexibility: The PA must be flexible, particularly during school holidays and for occasional extended hours. Kind and Caring: The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and able to build a positive, supportive relationship while making school holidays and after-school time fun and engaging.
