\nI am a working mum with a warm personality and a great sense of
\nhumour. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, inclusivity,
\nunderstanding and respect are important values to me and shape
\nthe way I connect with others.
\nI live with cerebral palsy, chronic fatigue and chronic pain, and I am
\nalso neurodivergent. These experiences have given me a unique
\nperspective, resilience and appreciation for the importance of the
\nright support.
\nI am a creative person who enjoys listening to music from my
\nextensive collection, playing computer games and taking part in
\nrole-playing activities. I also enjoy spending time with my family
\nand my pets. I am looking for a friendly, reliable and proactive
\nPersonal Assistant who can support me to maintain my
\nindependence and continue participating fully in family life.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\nRate of pay: \u00a312.71 per hour
\nHours: 24 hours per week
\nShifts are typically around 4 hours per day, with working patterns to be
\ndiscussed and agreed with the successful applicant. Occasional flexibility may
\nbe required.

\nWhat you would be
\ndoing\u2026
\n.- Supporting me with household chores and day-to-day domestic
\ntasks. – Assisting with shopping, errands and putting away deliveries. – Supporting with meal preparation and cooking. – Helping with laundry and household organisation. – Assisting with pet care for my two cats and tropical fish. – Providing support with dressing and occasionally showering. – Helping me maintain my independence and participate fully in
\nfamily life. – Occasionally assisting with light gardening and heavier household
\ntasks when required. – Using the Family Wall app to help keep household information,
\nshopping lists and schedules up to date.<\/p>\n
The person I would
\nlike\u2026- Kind, patient, understanding and respectful. – Reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality. – Open-minded and comfortable supporting a member of the
\nLGBTQ+ community. – Proactive and able to use their own initiative while also
\ncommunicating openly when guidance is needed. – Organised and willing to use the Family Wall app to support
\nhousehold routines. – Comfortable around children. – Comfortable around animals, as I have two cats and tropical fish. – A driver with access to their own vehicle would be beneficial but is
\nnot essential.
\nI am looking for someone who can provide practical support while
\nmaintaining a positive, respectful and person-centred approach.
\nAs some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer. This advert
