\nAbout me
\nJ is a 32-year-old man with Down\u2019s Syndrome.
\nJ loves football and supports West Ham United. He goes to watch West Ham at
\nthe London stadium as well as many England games at Wembley. J also
\nsupports Cambridge United and would like to be supported to attend more of
\ntheir home games. J enjoys attending musical concerts and listens to a wide
\nvariety of music, particularly country artists, He has seen Cody Pennington and
\nNashville concerts locally.
\nJ is independent and does not require any help with personal care. He does lots
\nof things with his family but would also like to access activities in the community
\nwith a PA.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\n\u00a317.60 per hour
\n10 hours per week \u2013 To be used flexibly; afternoons\/evenings & weekends.
\nLocation
\nCambridgeshire, Cambridge CB21

\nWhat you would be
\ndoing\u2026
\nPA is required to support Jack in the community, attend concerts, watch
\nmusicals at the theatre such as Cambridge Arts theatre.
\nAccompany J to the cinema, bowling, play darts, swimming and the Pub.
\nJ is a member at Impington gym and has a weekly session with a personal
\ntrainer but likes to go and use the gym at other times.
\nThe person I would
\nlike\u2026
\nIt is important you have experience supporting people with Learning disabilities .
\nJ would benefit greatly from a PA who loves sports, particularly football, as this
\nwould support shared conversation and rapport- building.
\nA driver with access to a car and insurance is essential due to location.
