\nPayment Holder A is an active, excitable and creative 9-year-old, with a love of all
\nthings arts and crafts. A enjoys drawing and creating comic books and
\nenjoys being outside and bouncing on the trampoline.
\nA has a diagnosis of Autism & PICA.
\nHours and rate of
\npay hours
\n\u00a315 per hour, 54 support hours available, to be used flexibly at
\nweekends and holidays.
\nThe working pattern will be agreed with family.
\nLocation Bottisham, CB25 area
\nDBS\/Checks Confirmation of an Enhanced DBS check.
\nRight to Work and references will be needed.
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026 Supporting A in the home setting, keeping him engaged throughout the
\nday with sensory filled activities. Helping boost A\u2019s confidence, to
\nbroaden his interests and support to develop his independence skills.
\nRequired skills
\nand experience
\nKnowledge of Autism and PICA is essential, along with experience in
\nsupporting someone with challenging behaviours. The person must be
\nvigilant and highly aware to assess the environment and ensure A\u2019s
\nsafety. They should have a kind and caring nature, be active, and be
\nhappy to get involved in the things A enjoys helping him stay engaged.
\nThey also need to be able to assess situations and adjust activities
\naccordingly if A becomes heightened or disengaged.<\/p>\n
