Early 50\u2019s female with physical disabilities. Likes to be as independent as possible, in reality this can vary on a day to day basis.<\/p>\n

Hours and Rate of Pay:<\/strong><\/p>\n

18 hours over 5 week days. May be additional hours when husband is away on business.<\/p>\n

Can be discussed at interview: \u00a312.71+<\/p>\n

Person Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Help with personal care as well as day to day running of family life.<\/p>\n

Assistance with practical aspects of daily living.<\/p>\n

Assist\/attend medical appointments.<\/p>\n

Be willing to prepare food & meals.<\/p>\n

Should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator.<\/p>\n

Possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.<\/p>\n

Be hardworking, reliable,\u00a0 committed, honest and trustworthy.\u00a0 Have common sense and be able to use their initiative.<\/p>\n

Flexible<\/p>\n

Clean full driving licence essential (25+ for insurance purposes)<\/p>\n

Ability to speak English fluently<\/p>\n

Be cheerful with a good sense of humour.<\/p>\n

Role responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Support with personal care in a dignified manner,\u00a0 meal preparation and cooking.<\/p>\n

Help with medication.<\/p>\n

Support with everyday chores,\u00a0 laundry,\u00a0 maintaining the domestic environment to the required standard.<\/p>\n

Support with social outings and medical appointments.<\/p>\n

Establish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis.<\/p>\n

Undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope responsibility of the job.<\/p>\n

Needs may vary on a daily basis therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter slightly.<\/p>\n
