A young adult with autism, non-verbal communication, and high-level
\nsupport needs is looking for two male Support Workers to provide 2:1 care at
\nall times. The individual requires consistent, structured support and carers with
\nexperience in managing potentially challenging behaviours.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\nTerm-time (Mon\u2013Fri): 2 hours per evening (after college)
\nNon term-time (Mon\u2013Fri): 6 hours per day
\nWeekends (Sat\/Sun): 6 hours per day
\nLocation
\nWatford (WD19)
\nDBS\/Checks
\nConfirmation of DBS check
\nRight to Work and references will be needed.
\nTraining
\nTraining will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
\n\u2022 Safeguarding Children
\n\u2022 Introduction to first aid \/ Paediatric first aid
\n\u2022 Health and Safety \/ Moving and handling
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026
\nProviding personal care and daily living support
\nAssisting with structured routines and activities
\nSupporting communication for a non-verbal individual
\nManaging and responding appropriately to potentially challenging behaviours
\nEnsuring safety and wellbeing at all times
\nRequired skills
\nand experience
\nMale carers preferred
