\nS is a happy 7 year old boy who is always smiling. S is diagnosed with ASD and
\nis non verbal and has sensory processing difficulties, he hand leads and points
\nto communicate.
\nS loves to be outdoors going for walks, riding his bike, going to the park to play
\non the swings an run around or in his garden bouncing on the trampoline.
\nS prefers company of adults.
\nHours and rate of
\npay hours
\n45.5 hours to be used flexibly at weekends and in the school holidays \u2013 paid at
\n\u00a313 per hour.
\nLocation
\nEynesbury \u2013 PE19
\nDBS\/Checks
\nConfirmation of DBS check
\nRight to Work and references will be needed.
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026
\nSupporting S to access the community safely with another trusted adult.
\nSupporting S to gain confidence in social situations when playing with other
\nyoung children, building friendships.
\nSome prompting to use the toilet as needed.
\nRequired skills
\nand experience
\nExperience of supporting other young people with additional needs is essential,
\nthis can be lived, personal experience, or professional.
\nIt is important that you are friendly and kind, someone who is patient and good
\nat time keeping.
\nYou should be a good communicator and provide clear easy to understand
\ninstruction.
\nYou must always be alert, S requires constant supervision to keep him safe.
\nIt is important that you are interactive with S and encouraging in order to
\nimprove and develop skills.
\nIf you can drive and have access to your own vehicle with appropriate insurance
\nthat would be great and mileage would be paid but, it is not essential.
