\nI am a young man and I have a neurological condition called Friedreich\u2019s Ataxia.
\nIt means that I am wheelchair bound and struggle with everyday activities such
\nas washing, dressing, preparing meals and going to the toilet. I also have limited
\nvocal ability however I am able to communicate and conversate well. I have full
\ncognitive function.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\nRate of Pay: \u00a318.50 per hour – SELF-EMPLOYED
\nHours: Monday to Wednesday, 3pm\u20139pm, with alternate weekend shifts.

\nWhat you would be
\ndoing\u2026
\n\uf0b7 Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
\n\uf0b7 Support with medication as required.
\n\uf0b7 Assist with computer tasks and everyday administration.
\n\uf0b7 Support with exercise and keeping active, including swimming and going
\nto the gym.
\n\uf0b7 Support to maintain independence, daily routines and community
\nactivities.
\n\uf0b7 Follow care plans, risk assessments and health and safety procedures.
\n\uf0b7 Promote safeguarding, dignity, privacy and respect at all times.
\nThe person I would

\nI\u2019m looking for an active male PA to assist me. Support will include personal
\ncare, medication, computer tasks, exercise, swimming, going to the gym,
\neveryday tasks, eating and drinking, going out into the community and making
\nsure all needs are met.
\nthis will be a 2-1 position as my needs have changed so looking for someone
\nwho works well in pairs.
\nExperience in care would be preferred but is not essential. You must have a full
\nUK driving licence and be able to drive a manual car. I would like a male PA who
\nis active, forward-thinking, confident with computers and willing to support me
\nwith exercise, including swimming and gym sessions.
\nThis role is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the
\npersonal care involved, so a male PA is requested as an occupational
\nrequirement.
\nAny applications are subject to a DBS check, receipt of two references and checking the legal right to
\nlive and work in the U.K.
