\nI\u2019m 21, and live at home with my younger sister, mum and 4 cats. I currently
\nenjoy going to the lily rose day care provision to which will be 4 days\/full time
\nfrom July.
\nI love my music, and gaming on the Xbox. I also enjoy watching films with my
\nfamily, going to the cinema and a good game of uno!
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\nHourly rate: \u00a315.50 per hour
\nHours: Monday \u2013 Friday (hours to be discussed at interview stage)
\nSaturday 9am-1pm
\nLooking for a second PA\/carer driver as soon as possible to join a small team
\ncovering various days\/hours of support. Due to the nature of the role, male
\napplicants 25+ are required as an occupational requirement.

\nWhat you would be
\ndoing\u2026
\nI need help with getting about as mobility can be difficult. I need crutches all the
\ntime and quite often my wheelchair. I need help with the toilet and taking a
\nbath. At times I also need help with getting dressed. If my epilepsy is
\nparticularly bad this help increases as I get anxious with falling too.
\nTo be driven to and from lily rose centre in Chelmsford. Also local trips to places
\nlike GP, hairdressers, barbers and also trips to cinema or coffee shops etc.
\nHaving the odd days out to improve J\u2019s confidence and experience new things.
\nPersonal daily care, prepare some meals, basic laundry say putting out on line
\nmaybe a bit of ironing as J is unable to stand. Change bedding.
\nThe person I would

\nKind, encouraging as J can be stubborn and needs a firm authority to get him to
\ndo what\u2019s needed. Someone who can support and help J\u2019s development of
\nindependence to move forward with his next stage of life.
\nSomeone flexible as training will be provided. But reliable, and passionate
\nabout the role important to give J the support and independence he deserves,
\nwhile still able to be in a home environment.
\nDue to the nature of the role, which includes intimate personal care, this post is
\nopen to male applicants only as an occupational requirement under the
\nEquality Act 2010. Applicants must also be aged 25 or over due to mobility
\nvehicle insurance requirements and must hold a clean full UK driving licence.
\nOwn car with business insurance is an advantage but not essential. Must be
\nfluent in English due to learning and language delay and finding it difficult to
\nunderstand.
