\nA friendly lady in her early 60s, who is a wheelchair user and lives with Multiple
\nSclerosis (MS), is seeking a reliable and compassionate Female Personal
\nAssistant to provide support in her home in St Albans (AL4).
\nDue to the progression of her condition, she is unable to walk or use her hands
\nand requires assistance with day-to-day living tasks to help maintain her comfort,
\nindependence, and quality of life.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\n12 hours per week
\nMonday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
\n10:00am \u2013 1:00pm
\n\u00a314.50 \u2013 \u00a316.00 per hour
\nLocation
\nSt Albans (AL4)
\nDBS\/Checks
\nConfirmation of DBS check required
\nRight to Work documentation and references will be needed
\nTraining
\nTraining will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
\n\u2022 Safeguarding
\n\u2022 Introduction to first aid
\n\u2022 Health and Safety
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026
\nPreparing simple breakfasts and lunches
\nAssisting with eating and drinking, including making tea and other refreshments
\nCarrying out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
\nProviding companionship and social interaction during the mornings
\nSupporting with basic computer tasks, including emails
\nWalking a small dog if able (desirable but not essential)

\nHave an awareness or experience of working in a caring or support role

\nNo hoist use is required for this role.
