A warm and caring family is seeking a reliable, compassionate and proactive Family Support Worker \/ Personal Assistant to provide practical support within the home and community.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will support a family with three children aged 15, 12 and 4, all of whom have additional needs. This rewarding role involves assisting parents with day-to-day family life, helping to create a calm, structured and supportive environment for the children both at home and during community-based activities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\nUp to 20 hours per week<\/p>\n

Before and after school hours<\/p>\n

Up to \u00a319.00 per hour, dependent on experience<\/p>\n

Supporting the family before and after school<\/p>\n

Assisting with routines and daily activities<\/p>\n

Supporting the children during community outings and activities<\/p>\n

Providing practical support within the home environment<\/p>\n

Helping to promote independence, wellbeing and positive engagement<\/p>\n

Assisting with organisation and maintaining a structured environment<\/p>\n

Supporting parents with the day-to-day demands of family life<\/p>\n

Reliable, trustworthy and compassionate<\/p>\n

Calm, patient and understanding<\/p>\n

Organised and able to work proactively using their own initiative<\/p>\n

Flexible and adaptable within a busy family environment<\/p>\n

Experienced in supporting children and young people with additional needs<\/p>\n

Willing to learn and implement a low-demand approach to support<\/p>\n

Confident supporting children and families within the community<\/p>\n

Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable<\/p>\n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with both children and parents<\/p>\n

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)<\/p>\n
