\nAbout me:
\nEarly 50\u2019s female with physical disabilities. Likes to be as independent as possible, in
\nreality this can vary on a day to day basis.
\nHours and Rate of Pay:
\n18 hours over 5 week days. May be additional hours when husband is away on
\nbusiness.
\nRate of Pay:
\nCan be discussed at interview: \u00a312.71+
\nPerson Specification:
\nHelp with personal care as well as day to day running of family life.
\nAssistance with practical aspects of daily living.
\nAssist\/attend medical appointments.
\nBe willing to prepare food & meals.
\nShould have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work
\nflexible hours and be a good communicator.
\nPossess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
\nBe hardworking, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy. Have common sense
\nand be able to use their initiative.
\nFlexible
\nClean full driving licence essential (25+ for insurance purposes)
\nAbility to speak English fluently
\nBe cheerful with a good sense of humour.
\nRole responsibilities:
\nSupport with personal care in a dignified manner, meal preparation and cooking.
\nHelp with medication.
\nSupport with everyday chores, laundry, maintaining the domestic environment to the
\nrequired standard.
\nSupport with social outings and medical appointments.
\nEstablish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis.
\nUndertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope
\nresponsibility of the job.
\nNeeds may vary on a daily basis therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter slightly.
\nQualifications and Work Experience:
\nExperience of working with people with physical disabilities
