\nAbout me
\nI live in the community in my own home, with no access to the outside due to my
\nhealth conditions. My main diagnosis is Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
\n(diagnosed in 2008) which means I suffer from excruciating pain daily. This
\nmeans I am largely bedbound and I am unable to carry out daily tasks such as
\ncooking, cleaning, shopping, organising my home etc. With the right support in
\nplace, I wish to improve my health as much as possible, to the point of being
\nable to spend time outside my home as I love the outdoors. Whilst I am
\nbedbound I spend my time, watching true crime documentaries, YouTube videos
\nand have interest in the Health and Beauty industry as this is what I did before
\nmy diagnosis.
\nHours and rate of
\npay
\n\u00a315 per hour \u2013 double rate on bank holidays
\n2x staff members and a bank.
\nThe two PA’s with the permanent position would be sharing the hours equally..
\non a ‘rolling rota’ of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts another week- alternating
\nbetween the 2 staff members.
\n7-hour shifts starting at 1 pm till 08:30pm (30 min unpaid lunch break)
\nWe are happy to discuss other shift pattern options with the applicant also.

\nWhat you would be

\nYou will be supporting me with daily living including personal care, light
\nhousehold chores, cooking, shopping and accessing the community and support
\nwith socialising.
\nThe person I would
\nlike\u2026
\nI am looking for a female PA, 30+, who is organised, kind and compassionate. A
\nPA who knows how to run a household alongside me as I am unable to do this
\nfor myself. Someone who is confident, and who enjoys spending time with the
\npeople they support
\nYou must have previous experience with adults who have a physical health
\ndisability.
\nCar owner\/driver \u2013 essential
\nAs some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female
\ncarer. This advert complies with the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) Section 7
