About me<\/td>\nI am a 70-year-old lady with chronic health, balance and mobility issues. I generally have a positive outlook and am friendly and sociable. I need support to help me live well and maintain a better quality of life.<\/p>\n

Hours and rate of pay<\/td>\nRate of pay: \u00a312.71 per hour, paid through Purple Direct Payments Support Service.<\/p>\n

Each assistant will be required to work 2 days per week, totalling 5 hours.<\/p>\n

P.A. 1: Wednesday, 9.30am\u201312.00pm, and Thursday, 9.30am\u201312.00pm. P.A. 2: Friday, 9.30am\u201312.00pm, and Saturday, 8.00am\u201310.30am.<\/p>\n

Assistants will also be required to provide cover for existing PAs during sickness and holidays (6 hours).<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/td>\nI need support with tasks that I would usually manage myself if I were able to do so. This may include cleaning, cooking, laundry, personal care, turning the mattress, and acting as a chaperone when required.<\/p>\n

I use a wheelchair when outdoors, so depending on my health, support to access the community may also be required.<\/p>\n

The person I would like\u2026<\/td>\nThis position would ideally suit a driver or someone living close to Hill Top, West Bromwich. I would really like someone who is honest, reliable, cheerful and respectful, with practical skills and the flexibility to respond to my changing needs. Applicants must also have a good level of English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication.<\/p>\n

Assistants should also be willing to provide cover during sickness and holidays.<\/p>\n

Would need to provide cover for existing P.A ‘s during holidays(6 hrs<\/p>\n

per week) and sickness.<\/p>\n
