\nJ is an 11-year-old boy who keeps himself busy and is constantly on the go. He
\nloves Mickey Mouse and enjoys playing with his toys, especially those that are
\ninteractive or light up. J is very intelligent and has a strong logical approach to
\nunderstanding and working things out. J communicates using a limited
\nvocabulary.
\nJ has a diagnosis of Noonan Syndrome and is PEG-fed via a pump.
\nHours and rate of
\npay hours Hourly rate of pay \u00a315.00. Support hours to be used flexibly during the weekend,
\nmainly a Saturday and the school holidays, with the occasional evening.
\nLocation Meldreth, South Cambridgeshire area
\nDBS\/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
\nRight to Work and references will be needed.
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026
\nSupport J around the home and help keep him engaged in activities he enjoys.
\nProvide support and assistance during mealtimes, as well as with personal care
\nneeds, including toileting and nappy changes. If support is provided in the evening,
\nadministering medication may be required.
\nRequired skills
\nand experience
\nKnowledge and experience with PEG and pump feeding is desirable.
\nWe are looking for a soft, gentle, and patient individual with a bubbly personality
\nand a kind, caring nature. Someone who is able to identify, understand, and
\nmanage changes in behaviour, and who is active and willing to engage in and\/or
\nsupport activities.
\nIt is very important that you are reliable and have good timekeeping<\/p>\n
