\nPayment Holder
\nWe are looking for support for our 16 year old son. H has Autism and a learning
\ndisability, he attends full time education in year 11. H is happy and fun loving, he
\nis verbal, fully mobile and independent with self care.
\nHours and rate of
\npay hours 84 hours available to use at weekends paid at \u00a315.00 per hour.
\nLocation Cambridge \u2013 CB1
\nDBS\/Checks Confirmation of Enhanced DBS check
\nRight to Work and references will be needed.
\nWhat you would
\nbe doing\u2026
\nThe role involves supervising community activities including park visits,
\ncycling in safe areas, trips to the gym, shopping and other outings. You
\nwill help boost H\u2019s confidence and support his independence ensuring
\nhis safety while having fun.
\nRequired skills
\nand experience
\nExperience or training with young people with Autism\/learning disabilities is
\nessential.
\nAbility to negotiate and encourage safe choices.
\nAbility to drive with access to a car is required (mileage will be paid)
\nReliable, punctual and responsible \u2013 as the role involves community supervision.
\nGood communication skills to interact effectively with the young person, family
\nand any other support staff.
\nAbility to follow guidance and care plans, ensuring consistency and safety.
\nDesirable: First Aid training<\/p>\n
