A kind, patient, and engaging Personal Assistant \/ Child Support Worker is required to support a bright, lively, and fun-loving 10-year-old child with cerebral palsy in a home-based setting within the EN7 area.<\/p>\n

The child has limited mobility, uses a wheelchair, and also crawls around the home. They have a vibrant personality, enjoy music and karaoke, and thrive when supported by someone warm, playful, and encouraging.<\/p>\n

This rewarding role is designed to support both the child and provide valuable respite for parents. The successful candidate will focus on building a positive and trusting relationship through fun, meaningful activities while ensuring safe and supportive care.<\/p>\n

3\u20136 hours per week<\/p>\n

Mainly Saturdays (flexible)<\/p>\n

Additional 1\u20132 days during school holidays<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\nEngaging in play and enjoyable activities, particularly music and karaoke<\/p>\n

Providing general care, support, and supervision<\/p>\n

Occasionally assisting with toileting<\/p>\n

Supporting with occasional community outings<\/p>\n

Encouraging independence, confidence, and social interaction<\/p>\n

Genuine enjoyment of working with children<\/p>\n

Warm, fun, patient, and understanding nature<\/p>\n

Calm and supportive approach<\/p>\n

Previous care experience preferred<\/p>\n

Epilepsy awareness\/training beneficial (training can be provided)<\/p>\n

UK driving licence preferred but not essential<\/p>\n
