About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

A young, friendly man is looking for a fun, kind, and caring Personal Assistant (PA) to support him in his daily life. He enjoys music, making people laugh, short walks to the local park and shops, and playing board games. He has cerebral palsy and learning difficulties and would like someone sociable and supportive to help him live as independently as possible.<\/p>\n

Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\n30\u201340 hours per week<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 \u2013 09:30<\/p>\n

Tuesday & Thursday: 15:00 \u2013 21:00<\/p>\n

Some flexibility may be required<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong><\/td>\nStevenage (SG1)<\/p>\n

DBS\/Checks<\/strong><\/td>\nConfirmation of DBS check<\/p>\n

Training <\/strong><\/td>\nTraining will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Introduction to first aid<\/p>\n

\u2022 Health and Safety \/ Moving and handling<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

The PA will assist with morning and evening routines, personal care, and preparing simple evening meals. The role also includes spending time together doing enjoyable activities such as listening to music, chatting, going for short walks, or playing games. No previous experience or training is required \u2014 just a friendly, patient approach and a genuine desire to help others.<\/p>\n
