About me<\/strong><\/td>\nThe Direct Payment (DP) Holder is a 26 year old man with Learning Disabilities and some physical health conditions, seeking a team of PAs to offer 24 hour support to help him live independently.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The young man would like support with all aspects of his life including accessing the community and being involved in social activities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\nFull time or part time (20-25 hours)<\/p>\n

Up to \u00a314 per hour depending on experience<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Location<\/strong><\/td>\nHertford<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
DBS\/Checks<\/strong><\/td>\nConfirmation of DBS check<\/p>\n

Right to Work and references will be needed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Training <\/strong><\/td>\nTraining will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Safeguarding Adults<\/p>\n

\u2022 Introduction to first aid<\/p>\n

\u2022 Health and Safety<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\nThe DP Holder needs a PA to assist in all areas of his personal, domestic and social life, both at home and in the community.<\/p>\n

Your role is to support\/lead an individual and independent life in the young man\u2019s home and out in the community.<\/p>\n

Duties will include:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supporting with personal care, household chores and preparing meals<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assisting with moving around the home and getting in and out of the car<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support with accessing the community and attending social activities and Sunday church<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support with communicating \u2013 using basic sign language and commands<\/p>\n

The person I would like\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\nSeeking PAs who are reliable, flexible and have a positive and professional approach to offering support.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Experience of working with those who have Learning Disabilities preferred, however, not essential as a bespoke training programme will be offered.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Driver with clean licence essential (able to drive Motability vehicle)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
