About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\nL is a 35 year old male with a diagnosis of Autism & learning disability.\u00a0 He has limited communication & understanding of spoken word but is fun to be with, he is good company but also enjoys his own company and being quiet..\u00a0 He enjoys a variety of activities including banger racing, charity shops, the gym (sometimes), bowling, car boot sales and lots more.<\/p>\n

L is very able but needs encouragement to try different things.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of pay \u00a0hours <\/strong><\/td>\n8- 10 hours per week\u00a0 can be flexible \u2013 Friday, weekends or any evening during the week. Paid at \u00a312.71 per hour. Extra hours for respite\/overnight support are available.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\nSupporting L with accessing the community and engaging with activities he enjoys to expand his circle of peers and activities of interest.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Required skills and experience<\/strong><\/td>\nExperience of supporting adults who have a learning disability or autism is essential.<\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, reliable and consistent.\u00a0 Someone who is calm and a good communicator, someone proactive and who will encourage L to live his best life.<\/p>\n

If you can drive and have access to your own vehicle that would be great but is not essential as L enjoys using public transport.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
