About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\nTo provide social support for a 28-year-old women with Learning Disabilities by accompanying her to social and leisure activities. The role aims to develop her confidence and social skills in a fun and supportive way.<\/p>\n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social activities and wants to make a positive impact on someone\u2019s life by helping them gain confidence and independence.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

10 hours per week \u2013 Flexible \u2013 days, evenings and weekends (to be discussed at interview)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Theatre, cinema and live music events<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Restaurants and cafes<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Shopping trips<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gym and other fitness activities<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Encourage and support social interactions in various settings<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide gentle guidance and reassurance to help build independence<\/p>\n

Required skills and experience<\/strong><\/td>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Friendly, patient and understanding personality<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Experience or interest in working with individuals with learning disabilities (preferred but not essential)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Reliable and able to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends)<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Good communication skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to encourage and support social development<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A driver with access to a car – Essential<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
