About me<\/td>\nI am a young man and I have a neurological condition called Friedreich\u2019s Ataxia. It means that I am wheelchair bound and struggle with everyday activities such as washing, dressing, preparing meals and going to the toilet. I also have limited vocal ability however I am able to communicate and conversate well. I have full cognitive function.<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/td>\nThis is a sleeping night position where you will be on hand to provide reassurance and support if required during the night. Most of the shift will be spent sleeping with occasional assistance needed.<\/p>\n

You will need to be able to:<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support with any needs that may arise during the night<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with personal care if required<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment<\/p>\n

Someone who is able to stay calm and responsive if support is needed during the night.<\/p>\n
