About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

A 53-year-old woman with Spinal Muscular Atrophy is looking for a reliable, proactive and physically capable Carer\/PA\/Housekeeper to join her established 24-hour care team. She is sociable, busy and home-loving, and requires support both inside her home and when attending meetings and activities outside.<\/p>\n

She uses an electric wheelchair and requires assistance with ceiling-track hoists for transfers. Full training will be provided.<\/p>\n

Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\nCurrently seeking someone to work Friday OR Saturday<\/strong>, 8am\u20138pm<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hoisting (ceiling track system \u2013 training provided)<\/p>\n

Daily exercises and stretching routines (training provided)<\/p>\n

Assistance with dressing, washing and general personal routines<\/p>\n

General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised home<\/p>\n

Ensuring a dust-free environment due to respiratory sensitivities<\/p>\n

Supporting with cooking and food preparation<\/p>\n

Managing domestic tasks throughout the day<\/p>\n

Accompanying her both at home and to external meetings or appointments<\/p>\n

Confidently driving a large van<\/strong><\/p>\n

Helping her maintain an active, sociable household environment<\/p>\n

Female PA required<\/p>\n

Comfortable taking on physical tasks<\/p>\n

Efficient, organised and able to use initiative<\/p>\n

Open-minded, non-discriminatory and respectful in all interactions<\/p>\n

Must be self-employed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Must be reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts<\/p>\n

Practical, capable and physically able<\/p>\n
