About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\nA 41-year-old woman living in Letchworth, Hertfordshire<\/strong> is looking for a reliable, supportive, and understanding female carer<\/strong> to provide part-time support at home and in the community. She is completely blind, has previously undergone treatment for breast cancer, and requires assistance with daily living tasks, domestic support, and help caring for her son.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\n3.5 hours per day, 2 days per week (flexible days), \u00a0\u00a318.92 per hour, need support at times to drop off son at 2:45pm and 5:45pm.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Location<\/strong><\/td>\nLetchworth, Hertfordshire (SG6)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

School pick-up and safe travel home<\/p>\n

Preparing evening meals for mother and son<\/p>\n

Assisting with daily living and household tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Supporting family life, including helping with childcare routines and drop-offs<\/p>\n

Providing general assistance in the home and with outings<\/p>\n

Required skills and experience<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Female Carer (essential)<\/p>\n

Experience of supporting someone who is blind\/visually impaired<\/strong><\/p>\n

Knowledge or experience of working with children<\/p>\n

A reliable driver with own car<\/p>\n

Kind, patient, and able to support in both practical and family-focused ways<\/p>\n
