About the service user<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

L is a happy 12 year old girl who has a diagnosis of Autism & ADHD. L is sensitive to loud noises.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L likes being creative and enjoys drawing, painting and painting her nails.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L also loves being outside going for long riverside walks, feeding the ducks or going to the park to run around and play on the swings.<\/p>\n

 <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of Pay <\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Flexible hours to be used after school & weekends approximately 7 hours per month \u2013 paid at \u00a313.00 per hour.<\/p>\n

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Supporting L to access the community with another trusted adult to engage in activities she enjoys.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Developing road safety skills and general safety when out and about as well as some money management skills.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L manages the toilet independently though she sometimes needs\u00a0 prompting.<\/p>\n

 <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

It is essential you have experience of supporting other young people with Autism & ADHD and have an awareness of the behaviour challenges the conditions can bring.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Someone who is kind, patient and understanding who can communicate clear boundaries.\u00a0 Good timekeeping is important as L responds well to routine.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L needs constant supervision, you will need to be alert & quick thinking in order to keep her safe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L does sometimes run, this is usually if she is scared or not comfortable in a situation, you will learn triggers for this behaviour.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Someone who is willing to be interactive and encouraging in order to improve and develop skills.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
