About the service user<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Part time live in support required for a 92 year old lady who is a power chair user due to leg amputation, she lives with arthritis, type 2 diabetes and COPD her breathing can make her anxious.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

H\u2019s hearing is not as it used to be.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

H is a smoker, she is happy to smoke outside when the weather permits or by the open door.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

H loves crafting & drawing, she also enjoys watching soaps and nature programmes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

H\u2019s family are very important to her.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of Pay <\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Live in 8am Friday \u2013 8am Monday (42 hours) paid @ \u00a312.21 + 3 sleep ins (10pm \u2013 8am) paid at \u00a340 per night. Working every other week alongside another PA.<\/p>\n

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

Support with all daily living tasks\u2026<\/p>\n

Personal care<\/p>\n

Medication and using her nebulizer morning and evening.<\/p>\n

Meals & drinks<\/p>\n

Maintaining the home environment completing household chores.<\/p>\n

Supporting with safe transfers using a Molift.<\/p>\n

If you have experience of supporting others that is preferred, this lady is looking for PA\u2019s who have a genuine interest in providing high quality care, supporting her to feel safe and comfortable.<\/p>\n

Someone who is kind, reliable, committed, honest & trustworthy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Good spoken\/understanding of English is essential to aid communication.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Flexibility to cover colleagues absences sickness\/annual leave.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you have similar interests that would be great but of course, not essential.<\/p>\n
