I have cerebral palsy, suffer from chronic fatigue and pain issues and I\u2019m also neurodivergent, this gives me a unique sense of perspective and resilience. I am a creative person and love to listen to my extensive music collection along with playing computer games and partaking in role play.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of pay<\/td>\n24 hours per week- \u00a312.21 per hour<\/p>\n

Morning call 6:30am for 1.5 hours<\/p>\n

evening call 16:00pm 1.5 hours<\/p>\n

Occasional weekend and evening call times- to be arranged- will be discussed.<\/p>\n

What you would be doing\u2026<\/td>\nSupporting with my participation in family life through, household chores, shopping, cooking and laundry and pet care. Taking in parcel deliveries, there will be times heavy lifting or a bit of gardening is needed too. I will also need help with dressing and occasionally, showering, so personal care is part of my routine.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The person I would like\u2026<\/td>\nI would like someone who is mindful, patient, understanding and comfortable with offering practical help, while still keeping things light, respectful and person-centred. You will be open-minded and have a proactive approach to the role.<\/p>\n

Someone who is confident to use their own initiative but also isn\u2019t afraid to ask for help or communicate openly.<\/p>\n

Someone who is able to follow rules and be willing to use the app family wall, this is to keep everyone up to date (e.g. timetables, shopping lists etc.)<\/p>\n

A driver, with own vehicle would be an advantage, but not mandatory<\/p>\n

Must be comfortable around animals as I have two cats and tropical fish.<\/p>\n

Must be comfortable around children.<\/p>\n

As some personal care is involved, I would feel more comfortable with a female carer. This advert complies with the Sex Discrimination Act (1975) Section 7 (2b).<\/em><\/p>\n
