144401"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PERSONAL ASSISTANT(S) VACANCY \u2013 Wivenhoe (CO7) &#8211; 144401<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maternity leave cover required from 1<sup>st<\/sup> December 2025 until 31<sup>st<\/sup> July 2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for person(s) to join our friendly team to look after a gentleman in his own home.\u00a0 The gentleman has learning disability, physical disability, no speech and epilepsy.\u00a0 He enjoys being outside in the community, great sense of humour, loves motorbikes, going sailing and swimming amongst other things.\u00a0 You must demonstrate a genuine interest in working with learning disabilities (show empathy, respect, promote dignity), helping the gentleman to maintain as much independence as possible.\u00a0 Helping with all aspects of daily living.\u00a0 You must be able to work as part of a team, help to cover annual leave and sick days.\u00a0 Knowledge of learning disability and epilepsy is not necessary as full training will be given.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you have a passion for caring for others, a positive can-do attitude, compassionate, friendly nature, empathetic and enjoy great company and humour, can work as part of a team, this could be the job for you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shifts:\u00a0 8.30am to 16.30pm, 16.30 \u2013 22.00 Weekdays and evenings and some weekend days<\/p>\n<p>Two overnight shifts: 16.30 \u2013 8.30 per four-week rota.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rota &#8211; \u00a0 Week 1 &#8211; 35 hours<\/p>\n<p>Week 2 \u2013 one overnight plus 27-day hours<\/p>\n<p>Week 3 \u2013 35 hours<\/p>\n<p>Week 4 \u2013 one overnight plus 19-day hours<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pay: \u00a312.21 up to \u00a314.20 per hour<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting with personal care<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with eating and drinking<\/li>\n<li>Laundry<\/li>\n<li>Preparing food and cooking<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with shopping<\/li>\n<li>Medication administration<\/li>\n<li>Light housework<\/li>\n<li>Accessing the community and activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be 25 years of age or over<\/li>\n<li>Must hold a clean full UK driving licence<\/li>\n<li>Subject to an enhanced DBS check<\/li>\n<li>English speaking is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please submit your CV if you wish to be considered for the position, thanks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PERSONAL ASSISTANT(S) VACANCY \u2013 Wivenhoe (CO7) &#8211;
