About the Direct Payment Holder<\/strong><\/td>\n <\/p>\n

A creative and vibrant young man in his early 20s is looking for a friendly, like-minded companion to provide support, engagement, and encouragement<\/strong> with his communication and interests.<\/p>\n

He is autistic and can find communication challenging, but he has a wonderful personality and a deep passion for music, Star Wars, Marvel and D.C. comics<\/strong>. He is also an incredibly talented digital artist<\/strong>, with a particular love for creating animations inspired by his favourite music and pop culture heroes.<\/p>\n

 <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hours and rate of pay <\/strong><\/td>\n10 hours per week<\/strong>, primarily on Saturdays<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Location<\/strong><\/td>\nStevenage (SG2)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
DBS\/Checks<\/strong><\/td>\nConfirmation of DBS check<\/p>\n

Right to Work and references will be needed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Training <\/strong><\/td>\nTraining will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Safeguarding Adults<\/p>\n

\u2022 Introduction to first aid<\/p>\n

\u2022 Health and Safety \/ Moving and handling<\/p>\n

Able to engage in shared interests such as digital art, music, comics, and food<\/p>\n

Who can help stimulate communication in a relaxed, informal setting<\/p>\n

Required skills and experience<\/strong><\/td>\nPreferably of a similar age<\/p>\n

Patient, understanding, and genuinely interested in building a connection<\/p>\n

Able to encourage and support creative expression<\/p>\n

UK driving licence<\/strong> (not essential but beneficial)<\/p>\n
