What you would be doing… | The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing assistance with personal care, daily activities, and leisure interests. The role also involves supporting communication through signs and sounds. The client uses a wheelchair and a rollator, and assistance may include taking her out into the community for activities such as shopping, cinema, and gym. |
Required skills and experience | Female Personal Support Worker due to the nature of personal and intimate care Clean driving licence (open policy on the client’s car, minor errors acceptable) Willingness to learn, with a preference for responsiveness to the client’s needs Previous personal care work is not necessarily an advantage. Successful applicants will be expected to follow training provided by the family specific to the person supported. During the probationary period, employees work under supervision, on full pay, with shadowing opportunities.
