| About the service user |
Z is nearly 11 years old, she is Autistic with a learning disability and sensory processing disorder she currently doesn’t wear clothes in the home due to sensory issues around clothing.
Z is verbal but she does get dysregulated very easily.
Z is not currently attending school.

| Hours and rate of Pay |
Casual hours around 7.5 per month available paid at £12.50 per hour.
Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.

| What you would be doing… | Sessions will be short initially, one hour at a time.
Playing and interacting with Z in her home environment, allowing her to build trust and in time develop the confidence to engage with activities outside of the family home.

| The person I would like… | Experience of supporting young people with Autism who are easily dysregulated is important as is an understanding of sensory processing disorders, both can bring challenging behaviours.
Someone who has a patient approach, who is kind and encouraging in order to develop/improve skills and who will be understanding of Z’s needs.
