I am a 43-year-old single mother living with my teenage son in Turnford. I

an appropriate standard, and plan and prepare nutritious meals.
I would like practical and enabling support to maintain a clean, safe and
comfortable home environment, and to develop sustainable routines around
shopping, meal planning and cooking. The aim of the support is to promote
my independence, wellbeing and confidence in managing daily living
activities, while supporting positive outcomes for both myself and my son.

Rate of Pay: Funded through Direct Payments in line with the agreed local
authority funding arrangement.
Location
Turnford, Hertfordshire, EN10 area

What you would
be doing…

Your role will involve providing practical and enabling support at home,
helping me to build confidence and maintain daily living routines. Tasks may
include:
Supporting me to maintain my home environment through cleaning
and household tasks

Supporting with grocery shopping where required
Helping with meal planning and preparing healthy, nutritious meals
for myself and my son
Providing guidance, encouragement and practical support to develop
independent living skills
Supporting me to organise and manage household routines
Offering community access support, such as shopping or local
activities, if requested; this is appreciated but not included as part of
the current package of care
The focus of the role should be to support and encourage me to do tasks
with guidance, rather than completing tasks on my behalf.

Please send your CV, two references and a short covering letter explaining your suitability for
the role. Thank you.
