| About me | I am a 40 year old man. I am a powered wheelchair user and work full time, mainly from home but with trips to my office in Surrey. I work in the Healthcare sector. I am looking to hire a PA to join my existing team of 3 carers who help me with my day to day personal care as well as supporting me in carrying out my day to day activities. |

| What you would be doing… | I am looking to hire a PA to join my existing team of 3 carers. I am mainly looking for someone who can work weekends and evenings, as I need support during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Exact days and times to be discussed as I need to fit this around needs of the other PAs on my team, I need some flexibility as I change hours and days of work to suit my energy levels which fluctuate due to my condition. Throughout the year there will be periods when I need a PA to stay overnight. There will also be opportunities to accompany me abroad.
I require help with washing and dressing. I require hoisting for toileting, transferring into and out of my bed and wheelchair. I require assistance with grooming and keeping my living space tidy and organised. I am able to drive using a specially adapted Van, but need to be accompanied when I go out. I need assistance with physical tasks throughout the day such as shopping. |
