| About me | This position is to care and support for 2 young children. The children enjoy activities such as art, baking, getting out to playgrounds or scooting, swimming.
You will be supporting the children at home and in the community. |
| Hours and rate of pay | £14 per hour (starting from)
2 x 3 hrs each week, ideally one afternoon (not Friday) and one Saturday morning, but can be quite flexible. Also potential for additional ad hoc. |

| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Children • Paediatric first aid • Moving and handling |
| What you would be doing… | You will support the children at home and in the community, to engage in activities they enjoy and to allow parents to have on 1:1 time in turn with the children.
You will engage with the children, encourage them to do non-screen activities, join in with crafts, baking, outdoor activities, go out and about (e.g. zoo, playground).
You will also make and encourage consumption of snacks & drinks. |
| The person I would like… | Seeking someone who is calm, flexible and understanding.
You must be reliable and consistent and be able to build relationships with children. Experience with Autism/PDA is ideal, either lived experience or training/work experience. Training will be available. Driving licence and own car essential. |
