| What you would be doing… |
Support the individual’s needs and support with accessing the community in social settings. Should have a genuine interest in the provision of high quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator. Possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role. Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy. Have common sense and be able to use their initiative. Flexible and adaptable. Good behaviour handling and a positive role mode. Clean full driving licence essential and access to own vehicle for outings. Be cheerful, caring and fun with a good sense of humour. A full, enhanced DBS is required for this role.

| Required skills and experience | Support with social outings and ability to take the young person out into the community: the park, activities etc.
Establish a close working relationship on a 1-1 basis. Undertake any duties which may be reasonably allocated and fall within the scope of the job. Some personal care such as changing of nappies (if comfortable). Needs may vary therefore hours, duties and tasks may alter slightly
