We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to provide care for an older adult dealing with progressive MS and dementia.
The individual is unable to stand or walk, has left-sided paralysis, and faces challenges in communication.

| Hours and rate of pay | 2 to 3 hours on Saturdays or Sundays, occasionally 4 hours during the evening
· More hours available if required. · Flexible shifts with prior arrangement

| Training | Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults • Introduction to first aid • Health and Safety

| What you would be doing… |
Providing companionship and support, ensuring comfort. Assist with using a Rita stand if needed for using the commode. Offer drinks and oversee well-being during specified hours.

| Required skills and experience |
Willingness to provide personal care.
Own car with business use on insurance.
Public liability insurance (required if not covered by employers’ insurance).
Training and proficiency in using additional equipment, specifically the Rita stand.
Kindness and understanding.
Ability to allow rest.
An empathetic approach to providing care for someone with progressive MS and dementia.
